I'm thinking of booking a weekend away somewhere in BC with nice rooms and fun activities. Any suggestions?
I visited River Rock Casino in Richmond last year and it was a really enjoyable getaway. The resort has comfortable rooms with nice views, several good restaurants, and they often have concerts and shows on-site. I spent some time at the poker tables, which was relaxed and well-run, and my partner enjoyed the slots. The whole place felt safe and well-organized, with friendly staff around. We also took advantage of the spa and just walked along the river. It was a nice mix of activities without being too intense. For a weekend escape in BC with a bit of everything, I think it's worth considering.
